So how long has it been now??? 

Well, I just got laid off on the 9th.  I cried.     I tried so hard at that company to help with the moral of the staff.  I was a drafter and I would from time to time bring in donuts, bagels, coordinate potlucks.  So for the owner to tell me...the economy blah, blah, blah, I had to put $60,000 of my savings.....blah, blah, blah.  I cut him off and said, you're laying me off.  So I applied for unemployment.  Luckily the amount that I will be getting is based off of Oct-Nov-Dec 2007 which I received a bonus, which made me make alot in that quarter so I'm going to receive the highest amount per week that Unemployment will give out.  I've been working in the Architectural industry now for 4 years, and now that the economy is the way that it is, no one is building which means no one needs any plans drawn up.  Before I went to school I was doing freight claims for trucking companies.  I liked that, but it seems that a lot of companies have a hiring freeze because things are slow.  I did my bills and I'm going to be about $1700 short a month.  I'm thinking about going to a Temp Agency on Monday.  They've always been good to me.  I'm just scared, with how the economy has been I don't know what to expect.  My mother has been unemployed now since August.  I feel for her because my sister relies on her  BIG TIME.  It's just added stress. 

I just finished reorganizing my office.  Since I've been so busy at work I never had the time to really go through everything.  Well yesterday and today I had the time.  I can see my desk again.  LOL!!

I also have a few sewing projects that I've been working on for the last month, so now that I'll have some time I can finish the important one that needs to get done for Halloween.  I'm making my neice a ladybug costume.  So far it's really cool.  I brought it over to make sure the size was good and it fits great.  Her mom, my sister, said it looks just like the picture on the pattern.  It make me feel good to do things for the kids.  After that's done, I'll probably finish the quit for my sister.  I'm making it for Christmas.  Then I have another one for my friend Cherrie.  She's way COOL..  I have a lot of craft projects that I can finish too.  If they are done by Christmas I might be able to give them out as gifts.  There's nothing like a homemade gift.

Well I'm not going to make any promises of when I'll be back.  I've been on Myspace A WHOLE LOT.  But take care everyone, and I hope that this crisis that we are having hasn't gotten to you either.

Well eveyone knows that I have another Diary, I've been posting there.  So, just in case there are those of you the tend to pop up here and read I thought it was only right that I put up a post here.

One of my nephews that was living with us decided to go back and live with his mother.  He said that the school was too hard and that our rules were to stricked.  Let's see, clean your room, do your laundry, go to school, get good grades, and be respectful.  I don't think that's too much.  We got them quads to ride and when they got their first report card, they both got grounded.  When basketball season started he brought home 4-Fs and 2-Ds, and we told him that he couldn't play because of his grades.  Well the next day while at school he called his uncle and said that he wanted to go home to his mom. Well now he's walking to school, has to clean his room as well as other chores, and is not playing ball.  He wanted it, so he's there.  It's sad, but you can't just leave because it's not what you want.  There's rule and if you break them there's consequences.

I was going to get married in April, but with all of the house upgrades that we're doing to add a wedding in the mix would just be TOO much to handle right now.  SO, we set a date for July 7, 2007...7-7-7.  Cool huh!  We picked up his ring last Saturday.  Mine is still on layaway.  We've already paid $4,000 of it.  I don't understand why he picked out such an expensive ring.  I've seen beautiful rings that costs $1500, but he didn't like them.  Don't get me wrong, I love the ring (I put a photo of it here awhile ago) but I would like to be wearing it now instead of making payments on it.  We're getting an equity loan so we'll be picking it up soon!!

I caught another cold... well it was the flu, during 3/9 - 3/19.  I returned to work on the 20th.  Well it ended up turning into bronchitis.  I still have a cough every now and then, but when I was down... boy was it not nice.  My mom was sick, my uncle, my youngest sister, and one of my nephews were sick too and none of us was in contact with each other.  Hey, at least we all got it at the same time and got over it before we saw each other. 

Now I'm having problems with my left arm.  Durning the night when I'm asleep it goes numb.  I'll wake up and massage it, and then when it's time to get up it's REALLY sore.  It's sore now.  So, I have a dr appt on Friday.  I hope it's just stress related and nothing serious where I have to have an operation.  That would not be nice.  Or even worse, diabetes. People in my family have it, and one day you could be fine and then a week later you could see your dr and find out you now have to take medicine for a condition you NEVER had.

I think that's been about it during the last few months.  I'll try to stop by and post more often.  Take care people.

Oh yeah, I got two puppies.  They're Great Pyrenes/Neopolitain Mastiff mix.  They are beautiful, you can see photos at my other site: http://special-caye.diaryland.com .  At 4-1/2 months they weighed 60 pounds.  Now they're almost 6 months and I'm sure they weigh between 70-80.

I hope that everyone else out there is feeling better than me.  Although I have broke my fever, I still have this cough that keeps me up all night long.  I've missed ALOT of work, and thank goodness that everyone else in the office has been sick, because the boss too has had this cold and he knows what it can do.

We get December 26-Jan 3rd off, so I may not be able to get online and visit sites during this time.  If I don't I'd like to tell everyone now that I hope they have a safe and wonderful holiday. 

Aidan my dear, I hope you and your family has a wonderful Christmas.  I'm glad to see that there is some sort of possibility that Cody will get his supplies that he needs.  My thoughts are with you.

Well, I'm going to go and do a little more reading else where. 

HAPPY HOLIDAYS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my nephew got into a fight at his school a few weeks ago and today we get to go to court for it.  The school has police on site, which is sad, and he received a ticket for fighting.  Well, it's today at 1:30pm.  Usually, I was told, the judge issues a $35.00 fee and community service.  I hope this is the case. 

With the purchase of the new home and adjusting from natural gas to propane.  It's been tight on $$$$.  We just filled the tank which cost $400.00, mind you it should last us for about 4-5 months.  So it's about $90.00 a month, which is still high.  Then with the addition of the 2 boys we have gone from $200.00 a month on food to $300-400 a month.  I keep wondering if it's all worth it.  Last night I was asked if the boys can go to the football game and I said no, they're still on punishment.  Well, I was then told that depending on what happens at court, that will determine weither they can go or not.  I then said that I said they can't go.  I was then told that he said it depends on what happens and that if it turns out ok, that they can go and what he says is the bottom line.  OK...so my decision doesn't matter then??? Then why and the hell was I asked then, if what he says go then he should do it all since that's what he believes.  Lately because of the tightness of the $$$ he has been a @!*#.

Anyways, I hope that everyone has a WONDERFUL holiday and try not to over eat! I know I always do.  It's all those wonderful smells and tastes that do me in.

Well the boys tried sooo hard to find something to get into last night.  Unfortunately every one of their friends were in trouble for their grades.  Hmmm, something that they are too in trouble for, but because it was Halloween we thought we'd be nice and let them go out for a while.  Well, about 8pm rolled around and they were still standing outside.  Mind you, we live in Phelan California and right now when I come home at 5:30pm it's abot 56 degrees.  So, I went outside and told them that if they're not going to go anywhere then they need to get in the house.  I locked up the house and we watched some tv. 

I've been watching this show called Surface for the past couple of weeks since it started.  Well, they took it off and had some other show on last night.  I hope this is not going to be the case.  I haven't really gotten into a tv show since Sex In The City.  Then they took it off.  Oh well, I guess that means I'm not suppose to watch tv. 

Anyways, I hope that eveyone had a great and safe Halloween.  I've seen some pics on the web of the kids, and all I have to say is GREAT JOB parents for the costumes.  They all look great.

I have another diary, for those of you who don't know.  My half-sister's mom has been saying things about my mom and I found it offensive.  She did not.  So, for the past few months, we have been going back and forth about it.  Just last week, I emailed her saying that I'm done with her.  I deleted out the photos on my photobucket account which were on her site.  I gave her several days to get her photos and start up her own account.  She writes on her site that I felt it neccessay to remove them.  How dumb is that.  I didn't remove them from her site, the link is still there.  I deleted them from my photobucket account.  Shows how much she knows about hosting images.   It just amazes me that she writes what she does and she still doesn't understand what's going on.

WOW!

Long time coming.  We finally moved this weekend.  But we still have alot of our things in the truck still.  It seems that almost everyone that we asked to help didn't showed up or left midway and never came back.  My brother-in-law brought his 1 year old daughter who cried during the time they were there so he had to leave to take her to the mother.  He never came back.  The people who moved out didn't clean the place very well and so Saturday and Sunday was basically spent cleaning up.  In Phelan, California is where we moved to from Fontana, California.  It was 98 degrees there on Sunday but when we were in Fontana earlier in the day (7am) it was already 85 degrees and it felt HORRIBLE.  But in Phelan because it's a dry heat, it didn't feel as bad.  I was looking aroung at everyone who lives out there in Applevalley, Hesperia, Victorville and they all have these beautiful tans.  Well I guess it comes with the territory right?  It hot, it's not like we're going to wear long sleeve clothes with jackets.

Anyways, I know that there's people who come and visit and I just wanted to let them know that our esrow did close and we are now home owners.  I am truly happy.  Now I can plant my rose bushes and not worry about if the landlord is going to sell the house.

Well, it seems that my brother in law has been served AGAIN with restraining order papers.  This one will last 3 years.  He got mad, called some of the guys who were there the "N" word.  Don't ever call a Black gang memeber that...Ever.

Anyways, he went on to say how he's been living there and that my sister tells him that she'd give up all of the stuff.......restraining order/divorce if he came back to her.  HELLO, if he's living there then why would he have to "Come Back".  Well my other brother in law who served him went to my sister's house and found glass speed pipes and speed sprawled out across her dresser.  He got so mad that he broke all of the pipes and I threw out the speed.  From what we were told later, he sells the stuff now.  He's probably not making any type of money, since he uses too.

Well my sister called my mom later that night and left a voice mail saying that everyone now knows and that she has a problem and that she's sorry for lying to everyone.  We've been trying to help her so much, and this is how she repays us.  She found some places to go, but to her is TOO far.  Perhaps she needs to find a place  closer to work, so she can go to work after her session.  I swear.  I never took any drugs so I have no idea how it can have such an affect on someone.

I'm in the middle of getting my house and I don't have time to deal with this crap.  I have done nothing at work all day, but mess around on the web and talk to family about what's going on.

I'm stressed and my blood pressure is sure to be UP THERE!

WOW it's been a long time since I've posted anything here.  Sorry people for not keeping up to date.  Alot has been going on over here.

My sister's husband never contested the divorce.  He now has to pay $125 in child support.  He's still being an ass to her.  She doesn't call the police when he calls, the restraining order is now in effect for 3 years.  Plus she suffers from Manic Depression aka-Bi-Polar.  So she's been VERY emotional lately.

Our landlord last month gave us a 60 day notice.  He's finally going to sell his house.  We wanted to buy it, but when we found out how much he wanted for it we were like OH HELL NO!!!  So, we found a house up the hill, put an offer on it, it was accepted, and now we are in escrow.  So now it's the waiting game.

Both of my nephews that are staying with us got a better report card.  My fiancee's nephew brought his GPA up from 1.5 to 3.5 in 1-1/2 months.  I'm glad that they've adjusted well.  And mine brought his D- and F up to a B- in both classes.

Well if some of you have been following my other journal, I've wrote some stuff here too.  My little sister finally filed for divorce.  He has 30 days to contest it or it's final.
