Halloween

                                         

Well the boys tried sooo hard to find something to get into last night.  Unfortunately every one of their friends were in trouble for their grades.  Hmmm, something that they are too in trouble for, but because it was Halloween we thought we'd be nice and let them go out for a while.  Well, about 8pm rolled around and they were still standing outside.  Mind you, we live in Phelan California and right now when I come home at 5:30pm it's abot 56 degrees.  So, I went outside and told them that if they're not going to go anywhere then they need to get in the house.  I locked up the house and we watched some tv. 

I've been watching this show called Surface for the past couple of weeks since it started.  Well, they took it off and had some other show on last night.  I hope this is not going to be the case.  I haven't really gotten into a tv show since Sex In The City.  Then they took it off.  Oh well, I guess that means I'm not suppose to watch tv. 

Anyways, I hope that eveyone had a great and safe Halloween.  I've seen some pics on the web of the kids, and all I have to say is GREAT JOB parents for the costumes.  They all look great.

I hate to hear the boys couldn't find anything to get into. All of them being in trouble for their grades at one time does strike me as curious though. Sometimes it isn't the kids as much as it is the teacher.

This District has this paragraph that they teach them from kindergarten. And with us coming from a different area, it's just hard for them to adjust. Then there's this thing called Edline. I can go online and check on what they are turning in for homework and what grades they are getting on tests. ALOT of zeros. So, it's them goofing off and not doing what they're suppose to do.

I see. Cody does a lot of goofing off himself. I still think that (in a lot of cases) it has a lot to do with the teacher. I hope that it gets better!
Cody likes Harry Potter but he has never been motivated to pick up the books. I think that when he was little I spoiled him by reading them to him. 1 chapter every night at bedtime.
